Achieving social justice through inclusive social health protection

The ILO and Mahidol University are hosting a special event on 6 February 2025 to mark the World Day of Social Justice. The event will highlight the importance of universal social health protection in advancing social justice.

To commemorate the World Day of Social Justice 2025 edition, the International Labour Organization (ILO) and Mahidol University are organising an event under the theme Achieving Social Justice through Inclusive Social Health Protection. The event will take place on 6 February 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (GMT +7) at AIHD Boonsiri Hall, Mahidol University Salaya Campus in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, and online.

This event will bring together representatives from academia, government, workers, and employers from across Asia to discuss the critical role of universal social health protection in achieving social justice. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in dynamic presentations, discussions, and the exchange of good practices, inspiring action toward inclusive and sustainable social health protection systems. In addition to the discussions, the event will showcase collaborative efforts between the ILO and Mahidol University, including their joint Master’s Program on Primary Health Care Management and Social Health Protection. This program reflects their shared commitment to equipping professionals with the knowledge and skills to strengthen social health protection systems worldwide.
