Research has begun in Azerbaijan on the creation of a domestic vaccine against coronavirus, regional media report with reference to Ramin Bayramli, Chairman of the Board of the Association for Management of Medical Territorial Subdivisions (TƏBIB) – branch of the government that manages all public health care organizations.
“After many years of preparation, studies of the cell structure finally began for the first time with the aim of creating a vaccine, diagnostics and chemical therapy, developing new methods of combating infectious diseases, including COVID-19,” wrote the head of TƏBİB agency.
