Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan health officials met in Baku to discuss the 2025–2028 Action Plan under their MoU. Uzbekistan seeks to learn from Azerbaijan’s success with mandatory health insurance, with sessions covering healthcare costs, IT, HR, financing, and international cooperation.
Nigar Bayramova, Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance, met with Shukhrat Inoyatov, Deputy Executive Director of Uzbekistan’s State Health Insurance Fund, to discuss the 2025–2028 Action Plan under their MoU. The Uzbek side aims to learn from Azerbaijan’s successful experience in mandatory health insurance.
The two-day visit also featured detailed presentations on healthcare costs, IT, financial and human resources management, medical services, pharmaceuticals, and international cooperation.
