” Global Laboratory Leadership Program (GLLP) or Programme mondial pour le leadership des Laboratoires au Burkina Faso ” was born of the collaboration of six international organizations that support the development of laboratory systems worldwide.
The program aims to promote and mentor current and future laboratory leaders to develop, strengthen and maintain national laboratory systems through the use of the ” One Health ” approach. According to program manager Antoine Pierson, Scientific Director of Integrated Quality Laboratory Services, the country’s implementing body for the project, Burkina Faso is the first French-speaking African country to benefit fully from the program.
