The thematic evaluation workshop of the national health development program phase 3 was held in N’Djaména from 22-25.02.2022. The four-day workshop is organized by the Ministry of Public Health in partnership with the World Health Organization in Chad. Over the course of four days, healthcare professionals analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of PNDS3 implementation, the effectiveness and efficiency of its implementation, and assessed the results in terms of the relevance, sustainability and impact of interventions and stakeholder investments.
Participants worked in plenary sessions on the following themes: governance and leadership, infrastructure and equipment, health finance, human resources for health, medicines, health information systems and healthcare delivery.
The conclusions of the work will be used to initiate the process of drawing up the new national health development plan and the provincial health development plans for the period 2022-2026.
