Appointed Minister of Public Health and National Solidarity on February 25, 2022, Dr. Abdel-Madjid Abderahim Mahamat was installed in his new role on February 28, 2022. Dr Abdel-Madjid was previously in charge of the health program at the Swiss Cooperation Office in Chad. In this capacity, he made a major contribution to the Universal Health Coverage process in collaboration with other development partners, and was a key player in the P4H network’s presence in Chad in 2012.
