On Friday May 26, 2023, the Health Financing Technical Working Group (GTT_FS)-Health Sector Group met. Several key points were on the agenda of the meeting, which took place via Teams under the leadership of P4H-PFP in Côte d’Ivoire, Serges Mayaka.
This meeting of the Healthcare Financing technical working group included the following items on its agenda:
- Assessing the commitments of national dialogues on health financing (Global Fund financing)
- Development of a sustainability plan for co-financing and transition policies (Global Fund financing)
- Presentation of the methodology of the household survey on users’ perception of CMU (Global Fund financing)
- Assessment of the national health financing system and its progress towards UHC, using the WHO progress matrix (World Bank financing)
- Progress of certain ongoing activities: mapping of resources and monitoring of health sector expenditure, evaluation of CMU, etc.
