Ivory Coast: Poste and CNAM join forces to promote CMU

The top managers of Poste CI and the Caisse nationale d’assurance maladie (CNAM) affirm their common ambition to implement the government’s social program.

To achieve this, the two institutions will have to work in perfect synergy through concrete actions to be defined as appropriate for the decentralized services of Correos CI throughout the national territory:

  • Facilitate the integration and massification of the population within the framework of the CMU program;
  • Ensure the provision of certain CNAM services in rural areas (through its network of postal correspondents or agents);
  • Ensure traceability and further guarantee the reliability of services and operations;
  • Answering the epic of the question of life prediction and/or existence prediction through its facial recognition and biometric technology;
  • Ensure the management of the population in their post offices in person or through digital channels (chatbot, whatsapp or through the Call center of the administration…).

“We continue to make the most of our possibilities to return the letters of nobility to this public entity which remains an opportunity to improve the welfare of the population and the socio-economic development of our country.” Isaac Gnamba-Yao, Director General of Correos CI.

For his part, CNAM Director General Bamba Karim and his team welcomed the efforts of Côte d’Ivoire Post and its willingness to serve the various government agencies in order to improve healthcare services for the population.
