Organization and Funding of Oncological Aid: Best World Practices, 27 June 2019, Moscow, Russian Federation

Addressing noncommunicable diseases is essential in attaining the health-related SDGs set by 2030. Among them, cancer is a rising concern that exerts significant strain on populations and health systems at all income levels. Russia is one of the countries with high number of deaths among cancer patients. The Center for Healthcare Quality Assessment and Control of the Ministry of Health, Russian Federation in collaboration with P4H took initiatives to organize an international conference on Organization and Funding of Oncological Aid: World Best Practices on 27 June 2019 in Moscow. About 150 participants and experts from Russia and other countries will attend it. The conference will enable knowledge exchanges and best world practices to improve oncological services by addressing organization, training, financing and economics of cancer care in the context of health systems aimed at UHC. World lead cancer and health financing experts such as Professors Tit Albreht, Nir Peled, Rolando Camacho and Soonman Kwon are invited to share their knowledge and experiences.
