We have the pleasure of presenting 5 (five) new documents on Turkish health financing and social health protection in this space.
Two research papers examine Turkey’s Health Transformation Program that was introduced (2003) to improve social health protection and reduce out-of-pocket health expenditure while also discussing the recent rise in such expenditure. A report on the country’s Green Card Program outlines its contribution towards making healthcare accessible for the country’s economically disadvantaged population. The fifth document is Turkey’s social insurance and universal health insurance law with provisions for health insurance coverage for various groups.
You can download the reports and journal articles from the Documents Section of the Turkey Country Page.
