Report on the study of free health care mechanisms in Chad and how they relate to the health insurance system.

The study on free health care programs and their link with the health insurance system currently being developed in Chad was carried out with technical and financial support from the WHO. It was led by Mr. Alexis Bigeard, Health Financing Policy Advisor for the CSU at the WHO. As such, The WHO expert stayed in Chad from December 10 to 20, 2018. During his mission, he met with key Ministry of Health officials, the CSU Interministerial Coordination Unit team, and technical and financial partners. He also visited a number of health facilities in N’djamena and the interior of the country. This report presents the main findings of the study.
