Singapore expands vaccination and test to employees in malls and supermarkets

Singapore expands COVID-19 vaccination or antigen rapid test twice a week to be required workers in shopping malls, supermarkets, taxi, and private drivers, starting from October 1. To support the vaccination, the number of public health preparedness clinics which are under the national vaccination programme will be increased from 44 clinics to more than 60 clinics by the end of August. Workers have already been under this requirement are those who work in healthcare, eldercare and settings with children aged 12 and below as well as those who interact with customers in high-risk mask-off settings.
