This document presents the key features of the national strategy of health sector in Jordan for the years 2015 – 2019 based on the Higher Health Council Law No. 9 of 1999. It is in line with the objectives set out in the National Agenda for Jordan and “We are all Jordan Document”, the government action plan 2013 – 2016, the economic outlook for Jordan in 2025. It supports the goals, tasks and responsibilities stipulated in the Higher Health Council Law, in addition to all other health strategies of health. It covers data on government health expenditure and health insurance coverage as well.
