Role Overview: The Coordinator will play a pivotal role in providing technical support to Member States in designing, implementing, and evaluating health policies. This includes initiatives in health financing arrangements to support Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and capacity-building efforts. Additionally, the incumbent will foster partnerships with external stakeholders, manage the work plan of the Health Policy and Service Design unit, and coordinate with country offices and WHO headquarters.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Advanced university degree in public health or related field
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in health financing planning, health services planning, or related fields
- Expertise in health financing and at least one other area of health systems
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships
- Proficiency in communication and collaboration
