Increase in the cost of consultations with general practitioners - P4H Network

Increase in the cost of consultations with general practitioners

At the 3rd plenary session of conventional negotiations with self-employed doctors, the Assurance Maladie said it was ready to invest in a global agreement on attractiveness, access to care, quality and relevance of care.

At this 3rd multilateral session, the Assurance Maladie wishes to set out its overall proposal to the representatives of self-employed doctors on all the subjects under discussion. The Assurance Maladie confirms that it is ready to finance an increase in the general practitioner’s consultation fee to €30, as well as specific measures for each of the clinical and technical specialties, and measures to improve coordination between 1st and 2nd recourse. These pricing changes will only be implemented if they are accompanied by other changes to improve the health of the population, contained in the overall proposal from Assurance Maladie.
