The PNDS 2015-2024 considers Community health to be one of the levers for moving towards universal health coverage. This prioritization resulted in the development and adoption of a National Community Health Policy in 2017 and a National Community Health Strategy 2018-2022. After five years of implementation, the Direction Nationale de la Santé Communautaire, with technical and financial support from partners, has carried out an evaluation. This evaluation identified the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that have influenced its implementation.
This 2023-2027 strategic plan is based on the recommendations arising from the evaluation, as well as on the best practices identified during its implementation.
