Guinea's national health development plan - P4H Network

Guinea’s national health development plan

Guinea has a National Health Policy based on primary health care and health system strengthening, aimed at universal access to essential health care and services.

Implementation of the PNDS 2015-2024 will focus on a sectoral approach at all levels of the national healthcare system, in line with the remit of each and in conjunction with all stakeholders. This implementation will be based on certain conditions, tools, an institutional framework and coordinating bodies and authorities by level and role, including : (i) A Health Sector Coordination Committee, (ii) A steering committee at national, regional and prefectural level, (iii) A permanent Secretariat.
