A stronger national health financing system provides a stronger foundation for the broader health system. Health financing thus serves as pivot upon which other health system building blocks revolve and rest. Achieving universal health coverage (UHC) and all the other health related sustainable development goals in Nigeria, therefore depends on how well the country delivers its ongoing health reforms. The national health care financing policy and strategy provides evidence-based guidance to the federal, state and local governments as well as other actors in Nigeria’s health system on how to provide an equitable and efficient health financing system that will foster / promote? UHC in Nigeria by 2030
