A committee chaired by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health was set up in Cameroon to monitor the execution of expenses related to emergency situations like COVID-19, the African Cup of Nations. The monitoring committee ensures that the priority health needs are identified and taken into account. This committee also facilitates the execution of expenses by removing bottlenecks that may arise and respond quickly to the need for health while ensuring accountability in use of resources.
