The organization of a business forum in healthcare was discussed by the Ministers of Health of Azerbaijan and Turkey among other cooperation activities in health care, the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Health reported.
The Minister of Health of Azerbaijan Teymur Musayev asked his Turkish colleague, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca to share his experience in organizing a medical business forum when they met at the World Health Assembly in Geneva.
It was reported that usually such a forum is valuable for providing the venue to discuss health financial mechanisms and investment opportunities, while private medical companies take part in such a forum. Turkey has experience in organizing such events, which took place in the UK, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and other countries.
