Three peer-reviewed papers discuss Israel’s public-private partnership in delivering health care services in the presence of the National Health Insurance Law (NHIL) that essentially ensures social health protection to all Israeli citizens. A report on Israel’s annual Dead Sea Conference on the country’s health policy explores the gains made by the NHIL while making recommendations for evolving the country’s health system.
