This conference is co-organized by the Ministry of Public Health, Population and Social Affairs, Enabel, the Belgian Development Agency, Be-cause Health, the platform for Belgian players in the health sector, and WHO Niger, the World Health Organization Niger and the International Labor Organization.
A dozen African countries involved in setting up a social health protection system (SHP), as well as representatives of bi- and multilateral institutions, academic institutions and civil society players, will be taking part in this major conference.
The main objective of this meeting is to share experiences on social health protection (SHP) and the fight against inequalities, based on strategic, technical and political options and critical and cross-cutting analyses of existing SHP initiatives in participating countries. Through this sharing, it will be possible to arrive at a common vision that will give rise to more concerted and efficient collaboration opportunities.
