The AUDA-NEPAD Development Fund (AUDF) held its first technical meeting for the West Africa Regional Health Financing Hub (RHFH) process in Accra, Ghana from the 29th to the 31st of August 2022. The meeting was the first step in kickstarting the process of establishing a regional health financing hub in the West Africa region to strengthen Africa’s health coverage through increased domestic health investments. Representatives of Health Ministries from the ECOWAS Member States -Burkina Faso, Cote D’Ivoire, the Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone participated in the meeting, in addition to the West African Health Organization (WAHO), and AUDA-NEPAD.
