South Korea to begin inoculating younger population in July, allow ‘mix and match’ jabs

South Korea plans for third-quarter vaccine recipients by administering COVID-19 vaccines to 22 million people of the general population aged between 18-59 years, starting from July, as part of the inoculation campaign.

People in their 50s will begin receiving their first shots in late July, with those aged between 18 and 49 in mid-August.

Vaccinating general members of the population kicks off in full-scale in the third quarter to help the country achieve the goal of herd immunity by November.
