Morocco faces significant challenges in managing healthcare expenditures amid the expansion of universal health coverage. The study aimed to evaluate economic measures designed to enhance financial sustainability, equity, and efficiency in the health sector. Using qualitative analysis and expert surveys, it found that Coordinated Care Pathways, Health Technology Assessment, and drug reimbursement strategies were effective measures. Persistent issues include weak coordination, an insufficient regulatory framework, and fragmented information systems. The study recommends improving financial governance, expanding digital integration, refining regulatory and pricing mechanisms, and strengthening primary care to ensure sustainable health coverage.
