In Senegal, 61% of deaths from non-communicable diseases will occur prematurely between the ages of 30 and 69 in 2019. The management of NCDs is included in the National Health and Social Development Plan 2019-2028 and in the National Health Financing Strategy to move towards universal health coverage.
