On April 30, The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) organized a Vaccine Summit that discussed the need to prepare for the next pandemic, particularly in the areas of vaccine security and self-sufficiency.
During the Summit, the private sector and multilateral partners have committed to a partnership with the Philippines government to finance procuring and potential manufacturing of Covid-19 and future vaccines in the country that was fully acknowledged by the National Task Force against Covid-19.
