The Long-term Care Insurance Act was established to promote the health and stability of senior citizens in their post-retirement years, alleviate the caregiving burden on families, and improve the quality of life for seniors. Under this Act, it provides long-term care benefits, including assistance with physical activities and household chores, for those unable to perform daily living activities due to old age or age-related illnesses. This document is an updated version, which was enforced in June 2023. It provides the details of Long-term Care Insurance Act such as administration, eligible assessment for long-term care, contribution rates, and long-term care insurance benefits. In addition, it includes the Enforcement Decree of the Long-term Care Insurance Act.
